BPEC runs the annual Plumbing Skills Competition as a charitable project and would not be able to successfully organise the competition without the support from organisations and companies within the plumbing and heating industry.
A range of leading companies within our industry provide the materials for the regional and national competitions. The competition's two main sponsors, UK Copper Board and Joint Industry Board for Plumbing & Mechanical Engineering Services, provide invaluable financial support as well as materials. As the sector skills council for the building services engineering sector, SummitSkills also contributes generously to the competition.

MAIN SPONSOR - UK Copper Board
UK Copper Board was established in 1993 and aims to promote the beneftis of using copper in plumbing and heating systems within the construction industry. The organisation works closely with tube and fittings manufactureres throughout UK and Europe.
UK Copper Board has been involved with BPEC Plumbing Skills from the early days. The organisation is a partner for the Pipework competition and provides both financial support as well as materials for both the regional competitions and the national final.
