Charity / Skill Plumb
One of the most important projects for BPEC (Training) Ltd is the SkillPLUMB competition which takes place once a year. Four skills competitions, part of Skill M&E, search for the top mechanical and electrical engineers from the building services engineering sector. Apprentices throughout the UK compete for the title Young Plumber of the Year.
SkillPLUMB has been designed to promote standards and skills across the plumbing industry, developing competence into excellence. Competitors will undertake a series of practical tests based on real life work which will demonstrate their abilities and highlight their outstanding skills in their industry.
Responsibility for this project has now been taken over by Summit Skills with BPEC now one of the official sponsors.
Visit www.skillMandE.org.uk to find out more about the competitions.
